Pasta dishes are can be filling, delicious and combined with almost any flavor profile, vegetables and meat. I tend to always go for the classic marinara or macaroni and cheese creations but was craving something more unique and flavorful.

This recipe includes all staple items I like to have on hand in the pantry or freezer. It includes frozen turkey as well as the following pantry items: mustard, pasta, sundried tomatoes and artichoke hearts.

Ground Turkey: good source of protein, B vitamins, and less fat than other meats. However, this recipe can also be made with beef or Italian sausage, if preferred.

Sun Dried Tomatoes: rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants while also providing a delicious flavor! Tomato Wellness provides more information on tomatoes and their nutrition and health benefits!

Spinach: a versatile and nutrient rich leafy green that gives this dishes an extra veggie boost! Rich in iron, magnesium, vitamin A, C, and K.

Artichoke Hearts: low fat, rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

The vegetable combinations are endless with this dish! You can easily add what you like such as garbanzo beans, olives, asparagus, broccoli and more!
